Solid Brass Hose Nozzle with Shut-Off Valve and 3/4 Inch Threaded Swivel

A hose nozzle machined from solid brass rather than moulded in plastic, which is what keeps it from splitting at the collar after a winter outside. Brass is sturdy, rust-resistant and seals without weeping, so the joint stays dry in your hand.

It takes a standard 3/4 inch female/male threaded swivel connection, so it goes onto an ordinary garden hose and turns freely once tightened instead of twisting the hose behind it.

Twist the barrel and the spray changes without changing the tap: a fine mist for seedlings and hanging baskets at one end, a concentrated high-pressure jet for paving, wheel arches and caked-on mud at the other. The shut-off valve on the body lets you cut the water at the nozzle while you move between beds, so you are not walking back to the spigot. Drain it before a hard freeze.
