Leather gloves for the jobs that fight back. The palm and the back are both top-grain cowhide, thick enough to turn a rose thorn or a cactus spine and tough enough to take repeated handling of rough stems, wire and split timber without wearing through at the fingertips.
What sets them apart is everything above the wrist. A split cowhide gauntlet runs up the arm and shields it well past the wrist, so you can reach into the middle of a climbing rose or a bramble patch instead of working around the outside of it. The hand is left unlined, which keeps it breathable on a warm afternoon, and a wing thumb is set at an angle so you keep the dexterity to hold secateurs and pick out a single cane.
Made for both men and women and offered in XS, S, M and L. Let them dry naturally after wet work rather than putting them near direct heat.
